Fundamentals of Medicine – Online Course The Fundamentals of Medicine course at Atan Consulting Solutions is designed to give students a strong foundation in the essential medical knowledge required for success in medical billing and coding. This course introduces the key principles of medicine, including medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, while connecting this knowledge to real-world applications in healthcare documentation and coding. Over the span of 6 months, students will gain: A working understanding of core medical concepts and how they apply to patient care and clinical documentation. Knowledge of the body systems, common conditions, and the language of medicine. The foundational skills are necessary to progress into the CPC exam courses in medical coding, billing, and compliance. This course is self-paced, giving students flexibility to learn on their own schedule, while also being supported by our team. Students are expected to complete the class within 6 months of enrollment. ⚠️ Important Policy Notes: Enrollment is non-refundable once purchased. Accounts with 30 consecutive days of inactivity will be inactivated and require a $250 renewal fee to reinstate access. Students who do not complete the course within 6 months may request a 6-month renewal for $250. By enrolling, you’ll be taking the first step toward building the knowledge base needed for certification and a rewarding career in medical coding.
Cancellation Policy
Purchase & Access Enrollment in this course is confirmed upon full payment. Once payment has been processed, students will receive access credentials and course materials. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once the course has been purchased, regardless of whether the course has been accessed or completed. By completing payment, students acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. 3. Course Completion Window Students must complete the entire course within 6 months of initial access. If the course is not completed within this timeframe, access will automatically expire. 4. Inactivity Policy Active participation is expected during the course. 30 consecutive days of inactivity (no logins or course engagement) will result in automatic inactivation of the student’s account. To regain access after inactivation, students must pay the renewal fee of $250.00. This reinstates the course for the remainder of the original 6-month period. 5. Reinstatement & Renewal Students who fail to complete the course within the 6-month window may request reinstatement. A renewal fee of $250.00 will apply to reactivate the course for an additional 6 months. Renewal requests must be submitted in writing to Atan Consulting Solutions and will only be processed upon payment of the renewal fee. 6. Student Responsibility It is the responsibility of each student to manage their schedule and complete the course within the 6-month access period. Atan Consulting Solutions is not responsible for expired access due to inactivity or missed deadlines. 7. Agreement By purchasing this course, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy.
